( >:3 You take after your mumma )
"Shh." Yoshi hushed, and carefully got off the couch, and slowly went to hug Sid. He was shaking ever so slightly, but it was enough for someone who was half vampire to pick up on. As he knelt in front of his girlfriend, he leaned back to pull Sid against his chest, and pet her hair softly. Now he knew what it must've been like for Sid when he decided to nibble on her.
Yoshi was going over in his mind whether or not he forgave Sid. Of course he forgave her for what she did, otherwise he'd be a complete hypocrite, but he wondered if could emotionally forgive her in that instant.
After a moment of love, he took her by her shoulders to look at him and said softly, "Angel." He looked over at the small girl's body, hoping she was okay.

( ^o^ )
Sid felt his trembles, and felt strange. Yoshi…was afraid of her? Well, of course he was, after what she did to him. But still, he was afraid of her? The thought seemed wrong, unnatural, and yet…it put them in perfect equality. For so long it had been she who had been scared of him. Even now, she was still sometimes on tenterhooks when she was with him. And hadn’t she had a nightmare about him on her nineteenth birthday?
But still, Yoshi was frightened of her. That made her sad.
She moved her head away from his chest after a few seconds. Listening to his heartbeat was not the best option for her. Best not to tempt fate, even though she didn’t feel thirsty anymore. So she rested her chin on his chest instead and just stared at him for the rest of their moment.
Of course, then she had to be responsible again. She looked over at Angel when he mentioned her, then got to her feet. She was about to pick up Angel, but realized at the last moment that her hands were bloody from the rags. “Can you carry her for me?” she asked, not looking at Yoshi but instead at Angel’s peaceful face. “Take her to her room. I’ll be up in a few minutes.” She picked up the bundle of rags and carried them gingerly into the kitchen. She didn’t think Yoshi would want his shirt or belt back, so she dumped his ‘bandage’ in a garbage bag and took it out to the trash can at the end of the driveway. No sense in leaving a pile of bloody rags in a castle full of vampires. When she returned, she intended to clean the couch in the family room, but paused, surprised, when she found Tulsi, a wild animal most of the time, busily carrying the cushions out the back door.
“What are you doing?” she asked, even though it was pretty obvious.
“Cleaning,” Tulsi answered, turning her head. “I came in here to take a nap and found a mess. Looks like one of you guys took a nibble and forgot to clean up. The person’s not dead, are they?”
“No,” Sid said with a wince.
“Good,” Tulsi said, exiting the room with the last couch cushion.
Sid wandered into the kitchen to wash her hands and face. Tulsi came back in and started mixing soap into water. Sid thanked her and left her to it, since she seemed to know what she was doing. She headed upstairs but took a quick detour to her own room when she remembered she was still shirtless. She wound up changing entirely, slipping on comfy pjs, then went to Angel’s room. She entered without knocking.

As commanded, Yoshi picked Angel up carefully, wrapping an arm around her back and one under her bottom so her legs were on either side of his torso and her head was resting on his shoulder. He kept his steps light as he went up to her room, trying not to jostle her. When arrived, he laid her on the bed and tucked the covers around her and fluffed up her pillow. He collected any and all of her stuffed animals and placed them around her to keep her company when he left. He walked to the nearest bathroom and took a washcloth from the linen closet to cleanse his face of blood. Once he was finished, he ventured quickly to his room and put on a plain t-shirt, deciding that if he was still there when Angel woke up that she probably wouldn't want to see him shirtless. He also took off his shoes and socks, substituting them for fuzzy bear feet slippers that completely cover his feet. He padded softly back down to Angel's room. Yoshi looked up at Sid when she came into Angel's room. He was sitting in a small chair by the bed, pushing his hair back by running his fingers from the roots of his bangs toward the back of his head. "Will she be okay?" He murmured softly. He took a deep breath, and beckoned for Sid to sit by him. He decided to swallow his fear and let it burn in stomach acid so Angel could be the center of Sid's attention, and that she wouldn't have to worry about him. ~( Bear slippers x3 sweeps4bloggers.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/grizzly-bear-brown-paw-slippers-2-lg-300x240.jpg )~

Sid took in the scene and a small smile graced her lips when she saw the bear slippers. It quickly disappeared at Yoshi’s question and she found herself twisting her fingers through her hair and tugging very hard. “I don’t know,” she admitted, walking around the bed. She pressed her fingers to Angel’s neck to check her pulse, which was strong and steady. “When she healed Tulsi from some weird illness, she collapsed afterwards too,” she explained, brushing some of the small girl’s hair out of her face. “Jesme told me that maybe it was because she just needed to rest, but I don’t know. That was the only other time that this happened. She did wake up the next day, though. She was really hungry and thirsty but seemed fine otherwise. But I don’t know if she’ll be okay again. I didn’t even want – “ She interrupted herself abruptly, glancing up at Yoshi. She didn’t want to tell him that she’d never wanted Angel to heal again. It would only make him feel guilty. Besides, without Angel he would be bleeding still. She checked Angel’s pulse again, then crawled over her and the stuffed animals onto the bed. She slipped under the covers and wrapped an arm under the toys and around Angel.

"Well, if that's the case, then I'm quite sure she'll be okay." Of course Yoshi wasn't sure, but that is what he wanted Sid to believe. "What...were you going to say, luv?" He wasn't sure if he absolutely wanted to know what it was, and wasn't going to press on the matter, but if she was willing to tell he definitely wanted to know. As Sid cuddled up to Angel he smiled softly. For a fleeting moment he thought about how much Sid looked like she could be a mother... but of course he didn't want her to nom on her kids. How would they ever explain that to child services?
Completely forgetting that he had asked Sid a question, he upped and walked out of the room claiming he'll be back. He took a short walk around the castle, stopping in his room before ending up on the first floor leaning against the wall because he felt a bit dizzy. It subsided soon and he went to drink a few mouthfuls of orange juice, for blood sugar reasons. Once he was done he sighed and went out the back door to stand and smoke a (very sneaky) cigarette.
No one in the castle knew he'd taken up the horrible habit, but he was desperately trying to stop. The stress from the situation just caused those little monsters in his brain to claim they wanted a nicotine fix. Little jerks.
He thought carefully about how things had turned out since they left the states, and how things pretty much went up and down for him and some others in the coven. This was definitely a down. He thought about how many people had left the coven due to hard things happening to them and the ones they cared most about, which lead him to think of Ann and Vic. They had left, too, and even though he didn't really know them well it saddened him a bit further.
He thought intensely about Ann, something in his mind bothering him about it. She had the ability to heal, he remembered that for sure. She'd always patch people up after accidents. Wait . . . Sid isn't a healer, and Angel is. Were they the only ones who had seen me like that? Does that mean...?" He dropped the cigarette in a slight panic, and ran in the castle, but quickly ran back out to stomp on the cig and toss it away so no one would find out by finding it. Then he ran into the castle and up to Angel's room in a split second. He caught himself on the door frame with his hands and stood there for a long moment looking at Sid and Angel with wide eyes and an immense feeling in his heart; part guilt and part hope.
He didn't say a word.

Sid bit her tongue and didn’t answer Yoshi. She heard him say he was going out and said a quiet: “Okay.” She stared at what she could see of Angel, worrying about her. She hadn’t been convinced by Yoshi’s reassurances, just as she hadn’t quite believed Jesme until Angel had woken up. Hopefully Angel would wake up again this time. Sid would never forgive herself if something were to happen to tiny Angel. Never.
Tulsi was upwind of Yoshi when he came out to smoke behind her, busily scrubbing at the couch cushions. She was doing this for purely selfish reasons – she didn’t want to smell blood every time she walked into the family room. And when had Tulsi had occasion to learn how to remove bloodstains? Her mother taught her on the off-chance she ever needed to know. For a werewolf, her mother was a clean freak.
She ignored whoever was standing there since they hadn’t said anything to her. But she did notice when they ran inside and then ran back out and stomped on something. Tulsi turned to look, but by then whoever it was had disappeared again. Dang vampires, they moved fast. She returned to her washing.
Sid heard Yoshi come back and looked around at him. “Hey,” she said. “Are you okay?” She noticed his wide-eyed expression and felt her stomach drop a little. What was wrong now?

"Please tell me she didn't..." Yoshi whispered, eyes still as wide as possible. He looked kind of like an owl. His mind was going almost a mile a minute with thoughts and hope that Angel didn't do what he thought she did.
(I'm totally up for Sid lying and Yoshi beliveing it if you dun want him to know xD)

“Didn’t what?” said Sid, completely confused at the expression on Yoshi’s face. Under different circumstances, she might have laughed at him, but obviously this wasn’t a laughing matter. She sat up and wrapped her arms around her knees. It took her a moment to realize that her thoughts were probably what he was thinking. “That she didn’t heal you? But she did, I told you that.” She was suddenly furious, mostly at herself, but her expression was oddly blank. “And a fat lot of good it did her. I knew I shouldn’t have asked her to do it, but you were bleeding all over the place and it didn’t look like it would stop anytime soon and no one else showed up when I called. So what else was I supposed to do? Take you to the hospital?” She barked out a humorless laugh. “Now that would be a sight to see. You’d be locked up for laboratory testing. So yes, I asked a little girl to do a doctor’s job. But what choice did I have?” She was trying to convince herself as much as him. “It’s not like Raphael or Erik or Ann were around to save the day like they used to be. And now she’s sleeping and I don’t know if she’ll ever wake up and it’s all my fault. What if I chose wrong?” She twisted to look at tiny Angel, her fingers back in her own hair, pulling hard.

Yoshi's shoulders slumped with guilt and misery. He was a little mad that it seemed Sid was trying to make him feel bad, but he let it pass because he knew she more than likely wasn't.
"Honey, calm down." He went to Sid and gently untangled her hands from her hair and held them in his own, allowing her to squeeze his hands if she wanted. "It's okay. You didn't know what to do, I probably would've done the same if it were you lying on the couch covered in blood. She did it willingly, if she was afraid of the outcome she would've said no. And to be honest, as much as I like living, I wouldn't blame her. I don't know her besides from how you like her and things. So she doesn't know me. If a little girl can show that much compassion for some random guy she doesn't know, then I'm sure nothing bad will come to her. She's just sleepy. I mean, if I healed someone at such a small age I'd probably pass out of sleepiness, too. I bet you she's dreaming of sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows."
Yoshi was aware he was kind of rambling now, but he didn't mind. Anything to make his Sid feel better.

Sid struggled hard not to let Yoshi’s words comfort her, but they did, a little. She sighed and tugged on a strand of his hair since he wouldn’t let her pull her own. “All right, I believe you, for now,” she said. There was Tulsi’s healing to remember, after all. Angel had woken up after it. She pulled her hands free of his hands and lay down again. “But I’m not leaving her.” She curled up again next to Angel.
(Skippity skip skip to the next day)
Sid had stayed in Angel’s room for most of twenty-four hours, only leaving to use the bathroom, take a shower, and eat. Well, and to fetch herself a book. You could only stare at a sleeping child for so long and ponder their sleepiness for so long. And she did not want to ponder her sudden, sinister desire to drink Yoshi’s blood at all. She sat in one of Angel’s bean bags, reading The Magician by Michael Scott. She was at the second-to-last chapter and had temporarily forgotten about Angel in her eagerness to find out how the story ended.
So when Angel sat up and yawned, Sid glanced up cursorily, looked back at her book, read another sentence, then realization hit her. She threw her book aside and launched herself at the bed. “Angel!” she squealed, scooping up the three-year-old and hugging her tightly.
“Ugh!” Angel grunted. “Siddie, you’re squishing me!” She wriggled.
“Sorry,” Sid set her back on the bed. “How are you feeling?” she asked, pressing the back of her hand to Angel’s forehead.
“I’m starving!” Angel announced as her stomach rumbled loudly.
“To the kitchens, then!” Sid said, more cheerful than she had been in a day. She boosted her young charge onto her back and they trotted off to feed the little monster.

Yoshi had ultimately left Sid in Angels room so he could lie down also. When awoken by the commotion in the hall of Sid racing down to feed Angel, he got up in a completely ragged (but smexi ;D (To me xD).) state. Eyeliner was smudged under his eyes and his hair was pushed back from his forehead as his fringe lay obediently back, over the top of his head. He was shirtless and wearing baggy basketball shorts in grey; his favourite colour. He slipped on his slippers, still bleary eyed, and made his way to the kitchen, almost tripping down the stairs. He smelt of vanilla cupcakes because of the candles Bou placed in his room.
As he entered he gave a half grin at Sid and Angel. "Hell-looo" His word came out a little slurred having just woken up but wasn't fully awake yet. He scratched his chest with a hand as he looked at the floor. "I'm hungry." He ignored Angel and Sid for the moment and pulled down a bowl, but tried to get the one from the middle and about 4 plastic bowls came toppling down on him. He looked at them stupidly and picked them off the counter and put them back. He fixed himself a delicious bowl of Cookie Crisp cereal and sat it at the table before sitting there himself. "Hey." He called to Sid. "I..I need a spoon!"
Yoshi's a mess when he first wakes up.
