Sid grinned, happy that Grace was finally playing along. "Because I just cast a spell to reverse the entire castle!" She exclaimed, still standing on her hands. "Everything is upside down and backwards now! It'll be a little tricky to take baths, though. Not to mention, how will we cook? Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. I'll reverse the spell." She flipped back on to her feet. "There, everything should be back to normal. I hope." She skipped forward to flop onto the bed, which still stood resolutely on the floor. "So, do you want the room? If not, there's plenty of others."

"This one is fine. Thank you. So you are able to cast spells?

"Yay!" Sid clapped her hands and bounced up and down on the bed. At Grace's question, she suddenly stopped and stared at her. She was all for playing along with games, but this girl actually seemed to believe nearly everything she said. She might expect that sort of thinking from Tasia or Remiel, but Grace was physically a grown woman. "No, I can't," she said slowly. "Gracie, you know I'm just goofing around, right? I just like making stuff up."

"Oh" Grace said, making a perfect 'o' with her mouth. "It just felt so real....don't tell me that the castle does that itself, because 'd rather not wake up by falling to the ground."

"No, it doesn't," Sid said, giggling. "This isn't Hogwarts, silly. Unless there's a secret passage under your bed, I don't see how it could get on the ceiling. Well, Kiara or Sydney could probably levitate it to the ceiling if you asked them to, but they could lose focus anytime and then you'd be a Grace shaped hole in the floor."

"Id rather not be so..." grace said with a laugh as she plopped onto the bed. "So tell me how you became a vampire? Where you born this way? What kind of vampire are you? I still can't tell. Do you remember you're life before, as a human? Sorry I have all this questions, but then it was just today that all of a sudden I learned what I was."

Sid blinked, surprised by the sudden barrage of questions. She'd assumed Grace wasn't all that talkative. "I'm not a vampire," she explained. "Well, I guess I sort of am. I mean, I drink blood and stuff. But I'm actually half-vampire. My mom was human. She gave birth to me. Dad's a meypire, so I guess that makes me half-meypire if you want. But I don't usually say that. I'm just Sid. Or Siddie, Siddiekins, Slothie, or Sidonia." She lay back on the bed, holding her head up with her hands behind her head. "I never had a human life, so I have nothing to remember. You mean you didn't know you were a vampire? How could you not know that? Don't you drink blood?"

"Of course, though my diet mainly consists of animal blood. What happened was I had an accident...long ago. I just remember waking up and not knowing where I was, who I was...nothing. I couldn't remember a single thing. Up til yesterday I just thought it was something everyone did...but then I was solitary, except during wars. Even now, my memory is faulty. I cant remember most of my life. Up til now, I'm actually remembering things. The only way I know my name is Grace is because of this locket. I don't know who the people aside from me are, and I don't even know if Grace is my real name or some name I stole. I've lived for a long time, so in a sense I knew I was different and to stay away from the warm-body people, or humans as I know now, but well....yeah its my way of explaining. Sorry if its complicated and weird."

"It's not weird," Sid said immediately once Grace seemed to have stopped talking. She sat up and turned so she was facing the vampire, then crossed her legs. "Trust me, you're not the only one with a strange past. You're not even the only one here who has lost their memory. I know Stefan and Shya at least have forgotten their pasts, forgotten who they are. You could try talking to them, maybe they can give you tips on how to remember more. And you know Eowyn, so you do have some memory. Maybe she could help you too." She thought of someone else who might be able to help Grace regain her memory. But there was no way she would suggest her. The last time Angel had healed someone, she had passed out afterwards. No way was Sid letting her within a mile of Grace.

"I see....well either way, maybe its for the best that I don't remember..." She smiled crookedly as she played with her hair and looked around the room, absorbing everything. She didnt remember what a bed felt like, so just having one beneath her was....magical.

Sid shrugged. "Your choice. If you ever do want help, feel free to ask." She crouched suddenly and leaped, landing in a frog postion on the floor. "I'm late, I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!" she announced, and hopped from the room. She'd promised to take Angel to see ice sculptures be made.
