Addison looked up when she heard someone come in and ask her those questions. She got up from where she had been and walked over closer to the patient.
"It shouldn't take too long for him to get better and of course he'd be fully, normally functional. He just needs some rest and such before he feels like himself again." She then realized that Kailen was most likely in here for a reason. "So what brings you to the infirmary anyways?"

"Just waiting for pops to finish with the inventory, so I know what to look for when I go above ground," he said nodding his head. "How have you been Addy? It's been a while since I've seen you. I was kind of on lockdown for punishment, but I've been a good boy and got released!" he said witha shifty grin.

He peeked an eye open at the two standing near his bed. He hadn't been asleep for very long, but it was certainly long enough to make him feel refreshed. Or rather, as rested as he had in a long, long time. He cleared his throat in an effort to get someone's attention, still very curious about where he was, but not wanting to be rude and just outrightly invade their conversation. "So... we really are underground?" he wondered, his tone curious, which only made to help his accent stand out. He furrowed his brows together in thought as he made himself sit up, resisting the urge to pull off the wires again, but didn't want to cause a scene like he had earlier. He frowned when he saw Kailen, his lips parting slightly as he took in his face. "Do I... know you?" he asked, wondering why he looked so strikingly familiar.

Kailen's eyes popped open wide..."Oh crap...your awake.....uhhh what's up?" he said lamely. "Yeah we're underground. I guess you could call us the resistence to the superhuman assholes," he said with a small smirk, scractching his hair that was still black thankfully. "I'm pretty sure I haven't met you before... I would remember your accent... Have you met my dad?" he asked glancing at the supply room. "Then again I don't look much like him at all, I look like my mom... but you have such a distinctive accent.... and look.... you look like...this guy here a little...but.... nahhh...so how did you get to NY?" he asked.

Addison listen to Kailen as he spoke before speaking herself. "I've been good. I've been working and helping people a lot, so that's probably another reason why you haven't seen me around too much lately."
She looked back towards the man when she heard him clear his throat and smiled. "Well you're looking much better. And yes, we are actually underground." After saying that Kailen started talking so she just kinda stood there quietly, not wanting to interrupt anything, since that would be quite rude if she did so.

"Oh, yeah," he grinned, reaching a hand behind his head to ruffle his hair a bit. Surely they would forgive his lack of a neat appearance. "'Resistance', eh? What is it you guys actually do? Like, is this some sort of conspiracy thing or... what?" he asked, directing his question at the both of them. It was obvious he was very much intrigued by this group. "Are you all vampires, or are there good humans, too? How many are down here?" he asked, finding himself rambling as he glanced between the two before him. He stopped, though, when the attention was brought back on him. "Your father?" he asked, glancing around to switch the attention away, as if doing so would make him appear out of nowhere. "Hmm," he sighed, wondering how else he could've known Kailen, but he was so young, and obviously not full-blooded, so that restricted the ages, didn't it? He didn't know; he had no experience with vampire children, halvie or not. "Eh, cockney?" he suggested, shrugging slightly, then cleared his throat again. He didn't like all the scrutiny. "How else would I get here? I ran. I didn't have a particular goal in mind, I was just trying to save myself. The last thing I remember is a bright light, then nothing. I woke up here."

"Ummm well we have the most awesome-est scientists ever!!! one of which is my girl.... and they are working on ways to combat superhumans. And while doing so, we venure above ground for supplies to keep us running down here. We also take out as many superhumans as possible....don't tell my dad I said that," he whispered, looking over his soulder for a second.
"Ummmm what did you just call me...." Kailen asked with a raised eyebrow. "What's a cockney... is it bad?" he asked, wishing Katya was there at the moment.

Addison was about to answer some of his question, but Kailen beat her to to the punch, so she let him speak, at least until he finished. "I don't think we have any humans with us in the hideout, but we've also got halvies as well as vampires here with us. And for the number? Well I'm not entirely sure, but we've certainly got a lot of people living down here," she explained, since Kailen hadn't answered that question, and then listened as Kailen talked some more.

"You mean you're basing your entire strategy purely on what scientists think?" he asked, trying to keep the skepticism out of his voice, which was difficult. "No offense to your girl," he said, waving a hand at him in surrender. "But the ones with the brains aren't always the ones who get things done," he said, making his point in as peaceable way as he could. "I don't know your dad, so I honestly wouldn't be able to utter a word," he promised, glancing at Addison when she mentioned there being a lot of people underground. "How do you guys manage to support yourselves? You need some help?" he asked, wanting to be a part of whatever needed to be done if it meant repaying them for apparently taking him in when he came with nothing. "You're serious?" he asked Kailen with a grin, one that transformed his face and made him look much younger than the grievances he had been wearing since he awoke. "Cockney is slang. A form of the English accent centring around London, which is where I'm from," he explained, absently picking at the wires on his chest.

"Not just scientists, they work behind doors, we have people who are what we like to call the *muscle*...it's a happy harmony. The scientists.. well they're basically the smartest family I know. And then people like my aunt and our head are the muscle, and street smart part of our whole well oiled machine," he finished with a shrug.
"I'm half vampire, my parents were full vampire's," Kailen said scratching his head. He looked up at Addison, "Last time I checked we didn't have any full humans...we have a werewolf...a girl that can become human...she's really good for reconnosaince," he said thinking about all the different types of vampires....lots of abilities and stuff..." he trailed off.

"Yeah, what Kailen said about sums up what we are and what we do," Addison replied after listening to both of them talk. "We manage fairly well, so you don't have too, by you're certainly welcome to help of with things if you wish," she replied to his offer to help. She nearly facepalmed when she realized she didn't ask if he needed anything or was feeling any better. Some healer I am. "So I'm guessing by how relaxed you seem that you're feeling better? Do you need anything at all?"

Nodding, he furrowed his brow as he took in what Kailen and Addison were saying about this secret underground lair. After a few moments, he sat up and leaned against the pillows again. "Okay, so I think I get what you're saying about what you do, but I still don't get how or why," he admitted, glancing between the two. "How do you live? Like, do you steal the city's electricity and water? Do you smuggle food out of groceries and are there cots you all sleep on or what? And why? Why are you guys doing this? It's insane," he said. His head was beginning to swim, but at the same time, he felt like he needed to know in order to trust them. "I'm sorry, I haven't spoken to people in ages. I guess I just needed to have some kind of outlet," he admitted, taking a deep breath, shaking his head at Addison when she asked if he needed anything. "I'm fine." After a few moments, he glanced at them suspiciously. "You're not planning on attacking the government, are you?" he asked, wondering whether he had unintentionally fallen into the hands of some crazed assassin's headquarters. They seemed nice enough, though.

Addison listened to all his questions and in her mind, she was trying to be able to answer them herself. Unfortunately she didn’t have all the answers he was looking for. It’s not like she ran the place, but she could attempt to answer anyways. “Erm…well we don’t sleep in cots. There’s an underground apartment thingy and everyone gets their own and we’re here because it’s safe and, uh…well frankly I don’t like having to go up aboveground unless it’s necessary.”
She ran a hand through her hair before trying to continue,” I um, well I dun exactly know all the other stuff, since it’s not like I-I run the place or am in charge of it or anything, and I’ve never thought to ask. I just…um… I’m just the girl who heals and teleports people,” she said with a slight embarrassed shrug, since she had mumbled quite a bit and wasn’t so sure she had answered too many of his questions. “Sorry I didn’t help too much, I’m just the wrong person to answer those questions.”

As soon as Eva had gotten the message, she ran towards the hospital, her mind racing faster than her feet. Could it really be him? But how? She was having a hard time processing what she was just told. She read the message on her phone several times and her heart raced every time her eyes went over the name. There could be other people with that name, she knew that was a possibility and the most logical explanation. How could he be alive? But she hoped that it was him. Her heart would crush if it wasn't. As see neared the hospital though, she could smell him. His scent was faint in her memory since it had been more than hundred years since she last saw him, but she knew it was him. Her eyes were blurring with tears and her throat tight with nervousness, and by the time she made it to the room he was in, she was shaking like crazy. When she saw him, she couldn't believe her eyes. "TALON!" she cried, racing over and tackling him, not carrying about the machines that were attached to him. She needed to hold him, afraid that this wasn't real and that she was going to lose him again. She didn't care how he was alive, and it didn't matter. She had her brother back.

Talon fell silent at Addison's rambled response to all of his questions, trying to decide for himself whether she was actually telling the truth or doing a damnable job of trying to cover up this coven's secrets. Shifting his gaze slowly between the two, he began to draw in on himself. Why would they all of a sudden not want to answer his questions when they had seemed so amiable enough just a few moments ago? What kind of people would just trust a system whole-heartedly without even knowing what the end plan was?
He knew he was being paranoid. How could he not be? He woke up underground, though physically okay for the most part, in a place that he supposed was a sanctuary for vampires from the government. That he could understand, but there were far too many of them in one place. It seemed to him - though he had little experience with large groups, so he could be wrong - that they were up to something no good. What had the guy said earlier? That there were a lot of abilities. Probably enough abilities to throw the government, which he just now realised was one of his questions that had been avoided.
Visibly tensing, he slowly began to sit up, so not to alert Addison that he was doing anything different than resituating himself or worry Kailen enough to call for backup, he began to peel off the wires that had been hooked to him. "I take it I don't need these anymore," he started, but froze at the sound of hurried feet heading in their direction. Had they sensed that he was getting anxious and about to bolt? Hurrying his movements, he was too distracted by unhooking himself to realise that Eva had flung herself at him. With a startled cry, he at first tried to shove her away - until he realised she had called his name. He had to collect himself after that, his mind racing at the possibilities of what was going on, until he pulled back enough to get a look at her face.
"Eva?" he asked, almost in wonder as he gazed at her, his eyes widening at the almost impossibility of reuniting with someone he loved. "Is it really you?" he asked, brushing her hair away almost as if he were afraid to touch her lest she disappear, then pulled her tightly against him. "Oh god, I thought... I thought..." he trailed off, unable to continue with the sentence as he felt warmth pool in his eyes and spill over. "I'm glad you're safe," he whispered, dabbing roughly at his eyes because he didn't want these strangers to have seen him cry. His plan to get out of there forgotten, he turned towards her and took her hand just so he could look at her and make sure she was okay, but he still couldn't keep himself from asking. "How've you been?"
