Eva couldn't help being hurt when Talon tried pushing her away, and her grip loosened from him. It didn't take her long to figure out, though, that she probably freaked him out. He was in an unknown place surrounded by strangers, how else was he going to respond to being tackled? She brightened up when he recognized her, a smile so wide that it hurt her face. "Uh-huh," she replied, feeling realized when he responded by hugging her. She held him tightly back, burying her face against his shoulder and she took deep breathes to savour the scent of him she had missed. She didn't think miracles could happen in the world they lived in now, but having Talon here alive was definitely one. Her body was still shaking, and she couldn't seem to stop the tears falling from her face. She was too happy to ask how he was alive, thinking to save that till later because she didn't want to be reminded of his death. She wiped her face as they pulled away, a smile still plastered on her face and she held his hand back, not wanting to let him go for a long time. "Um, well, y'know, life has its ups and downs," she told him, "but I'm happy. I don't know where to begin," she laughed, patting and stroking his hand because she couldn't stop fidgeting. She honestly didn't know where to begin, or what to say, so she just hugged him again, but the angle was wrong with her stomach so she had to reposition herself. At doing that, she figured that could be a thing to start talking about... even if it would shock Talon. "I'm gonna be a mom," she said, backing up so he could see her round stomach.

Talon continued messing with the wires on his chest until he managed to pull them all off, finding them more of a nuisance than they would be any help to him. Doing something just made him feel less restless, though he did feel bad that he wasn't giving Eva his complete attention. He did listen to her, though, his gaze tired, but intent. He nodded in reply to her 'life has its up and downs' comment, not finding any way that that could've been said any better. He got a good look at her while she spoke to him, a really good look, and was glad to see that she looked so healthy. There was something in her eyes, though, that made her look older than he remembered, but he was lucky that she had escaped mostly unscathed from the awful events of the years. He smiled again when she said that she was happy, squeezing her hand because that was some of the best news he had heard in a long while. "Happiness isn't something that's easily attainable in these times, but I'm glad that the years have been kind to you, Evie," he told her, lightly touching her cheek for a moment, as if he could draw in some of her sentiments. "I didn't mean to make you cry, I - how did you even know I was down here?" he asked, still very confused about how things were going so quickly, but that became an afterthought as his eyes travelled to her stomach. His mouth fell open a little in shock, but he kept his peace. As strange as the thought was to bring a child into the world as it was in, he couldn't bring himself to utter a word against her as he placed a hand against her tummy. "Congratulations," he told her, finding himself smiling, and he hugged her again. "Who's the lucky guy?" he teased her, his expression faultering for a split second as a thought came to mind, but he hid it well.

"Well, I'm sure it would be worse if I didn't have all the support from the people here," Eva said, glancing at the others in the room as if just noticing them there for the first time. She knew she wouldn't be where she was today without her Coven, and she was glad that they were there to help her if she needed it. She shook her head quickly when he mentioned her crying. "I'm crying 'cause I'm happy," she told him, again wiping her eyes but the tears weren't falling down her face anymore. "Um, they messaged me. I'm guessing they must have found ID on you or something," she guessed, since no one in this room knew Talon except for her. She smiled and felt relieved when Talon did as well, hugging him. "Thank you." She blinked in confusion at his question, surprised that Talon didn't figure it out himself, and then suddenly grew nervous. A while back she found out from Nikko that Talon didn't approve of her and Merik's relationship, and she wasn't sure if he'd still feel the same. "It's... Merik," she replied, almost a little sheepish and she waited to see his reaction.

Kailen as busied himself with cleaning up the bit of mess the prior scuffle had made and was pointedly giving Eva and Talin some privacy since she obviously knew him from the past. After he finished up, he excused himself from the room, carrying the list of materials needed for going above ground.
Finding his way to the training grounds, depositing the list to be handed out to the people stationed to go above ground next. He entered the locker room and changed. Emerging, he grabbed a long night-stick and found his aunt on the training floor. "Hey aunt Icis," he called to her as he stretched, getting ready to sparr with her.
Icis smiled at him, "Hey Kai," she said adage expertly spun two night-sticks between both hands. She was feeling much better, having taken back control over her body, and Artemis seemed to be pretty weak at the moment and she could barely hear her. "Anything new going on? How's Kit?" she asked tossing one stick to the side and walking towards him, kissing him on the forehead and ruffling his hair, "Ready to get your butt kicked?"
"I'm good, Kit is amazing, as always. We had a problem with a new vampire in medic I think dad told you about him, he was a little nuts, but it seems to be all cleared up. Eva seems to know him so he calmed. I think his name is Alan or something..." he said ducking as the night-stick whirred past his head. He sent a counter which she deflected and they continued to talk as the fought.
"You sure he's safe? I don't want Eva near someone crazed while she's pregnant..." she said as the night-stick came into contact with his shoulder, "Never underestimate your attack, just because they attack mostly from the right doesn't mean their left is unpracticed," she scolded as his night-stick came close to her nose, and gave him a grin, as she swept his feet out from under him. "And fighting angry leaves you vulnerable, fight smart." Kailen nodded and resumed his careful attack. "I'm sure she'll be fine Addison is there, and dad's on his way back there.
Omari re-entered the medic with a stack of papers and went to one side of the room and began sorting through them quietly, sneaking a peek at the man and Eva.

"I guess that makes sense," Talon shrugged when Eva told him that things were made easier for her with the support of the coven, of which he was still really iffy about. Again, he eyed Kailen and Addison a little warily, but knew that they weren't much of a threat if Eva seemed not to care that they were there. He wished they would give them some privacy - he felt like he was still being examined, though he was doing and feeling much better. He watched her wipe away her tears, feeling less guilty when she said that they were from being happy, but was still really grateful that she wasn't still crying. "Messaged you?" he asked with surprise, glancing down at her hand as if she had a mobile phone out in plain sight. "And you guys aren't being tracked by those, or have you found a way to hide your signals?" he asked, now somewhat thinking along the lines that maybe they were in alliance with the guys who tried to kill them. Maybe they were trying to get them all in one place, then extinguish them all. Shaking that thought from his head, he tried to appear less shaken, especially since it was himself that was making him feel that way. He glanced down at himself when she said they might've found an I.D. on him, and the only thing he knew that might've given him away was a tattoo down the right side of his back, which spelt out 'Orion' and a set of silver dogtags, which he still wore. "Oh, well. I guess that makes sense," he told her, sounding a little relieved that it wasn't some weird communication thing like he had imagined. "You're welcome," he told her, giving her hand another squeeze simply because he could. He missed being with people he knew, which made him feel a little more secure. "What's wrong?" he asked, seeing her expression and how nervous she became at his question. When she finally replied, he just stared at her. "Oh." The longer he sat there, the more frustrated he became that Eva was just sitting there and talking to him like things were okay, when his own brother couldn't seem to come see him for himself. He tried to look happy for her, but after all this time, he assumed that if Merik was still alive, he would've ran to him, hugged him, or at least come to see how he faired, like Eva herself had done, but no. Here he was, seated in an infirmiry - though he was alright, that hardly mattered - with complete strangers. "Where is he?" he asked, trying to keep his voice even, but his hurt made it sound a little more snippy than he had intended. "Why isn't he here, why doesn't he want to come see me?" he asked, a brief flare of worry overcoming him for a moment at the thought that maybe he couldn't, but Eva wouldn't be so calm if that was the case. "Where is he?!"

"Oh, no, don't worry, they can't track us down here. We have some scientist who are probably the smartest in the world! They've developed technology so they don't know we're down here," Eva assured him, wanting Talon to feel safe down here as much as she did. Of course she never felt one hundred percent safe, it was hard to. She was always on a slight edge no matter where she was. "Oh, no no nothing!" she quickly said, wanting to make sure there was nothing wrong with her. She blinked at the hardness in his voice, opening her mouth to reply but he kept speaking. She panicked slightly because she didn't want Talon to be upset, nor angry and her reply came out in a stutter. "C-Calm down! He's in a meeting, and he probably can't get to his phone!" she told him hastily, getting up from the bed. "I'll go get him, okay? Just stay here."
It didn't take long for Eva to make it to the meeting room, but when she was there, she was out of breath and felt exhausted. She found she couldn't run for very long, or very long distances, now that she was pregnant. She got tired easily, and she didn't like pushing herself because wasn't sure what it would do to the baby. She was being extra cautious since her miscarriage. She didn't bother knocking on the door, not caring that she was being rude by throwing open the door. "MerikMerikMerik! Come quickly!" she demanded, making her way across the room and to where he was seating. She didn't wait for his reply and grabbed his arm, pulling him out of his seat and towards the door. She didn't think about apologizing or even acknowledging the other people in the room, her eagerness to get Merik to his brother overriding everything else. Even though she wanted to get back to Talon quickly, she couldn't find the energy to run back, and even though there was a cramp in her side, she walked as quickly as she could. "I don't know how, but your brother's alive and he's here and you need to see him!" She knew that she was being quite blunt telling him that Talon was miraculousness alive, but she figured she should tell him ahead of time, so he wasn't so shocked if he just saw him.

Omari, subtly listening in to the conversation tensed and turn toward Eva and Talon when Talon's voice changed and he kept speaking over Eva in a harsh tone, ready to pounce on the man if he took one swing at her. He relaxed slightly when Eva took off to get Merik and slowly turned back to his papers, making sure to angle himself so that he could see Talon clearly.
Putting his pen back down to the form, he paused as he thought about what they had said. Merik's brother? He felt something nudging at the edge of his mind, something Art had told him long ago. He smiled as he brought up the memory of his beautiful deceased wife, and had to strain to not get lost in a daydream as he so often did when he thought of her. Talon was there when before she as her sister, Mia and some others from their previous house lost their memories. The Volturi.... He remembered her saying, her eyes growing hard at the name. Talon.... Wait... He was supposed to be dead... By.... And he was with....
He turned and looked at Talon again, astonished that he was alive and sitting here, while the man who tried to kill him, and the woman that's heart was broken over his death we're all in the same dwelling. "Well this can't turn out well...." he mumbled to himself.

Talon furrowed his brows when Eva mentioned 'the scientists' again like Kailen had earlier. Once more, another conspiracy theory went through his mind, but he didn't let it get to him like the other's had. He actually liked the idea of them having their own private systems and such to get along safely, especially if he intended to stay with them. Which he did, since he couldn't bear to leave Eva so soon after he had just found her alive and well again, and carrying a child that was soon to be his family. A family; he had his family back, if not completely whole, but enough to keep him happy. He gave her a look when she attempted to assure him, but only succeeded in making him worry more about her. "A meeting?" he asked, a little taken aback since his little brother being in a meeting was one of the last things he expected. That and Eva's stuttered response made him realise that he was overreacting, and made a mental note to apologise to her when she returned. Until then, he figured it wouldn't hurt any to walk around the room and check things out. "Hey. I wanted to apologise about earlier," he commented to Omari as he went to stand beside him. He wanted to offer him some help, if only to actually do something, but he doubted he could do much.
Merik knew Eva was approaching the moment she started heading toward the meeting room, but he never expected her to just burst in the way she did. "Evie!" He stood to his feet, assuming whatever she was so anxious about was an emergency or she wouldn't have behaved in such a manner. "What is it? What's wrong?!" he asked, then remembered that he had a room full of spectators that were vital to the coven's well-being. "We'll recess until tomorrow. If that's not a good time, just get back with me and we'll make arrangements to meet another time," he told them, giving them a brief nod before he allowed Eva to drag him from the room. "Evie, stop!" he told her, pulling against her hold on his arm until she stopped trying to pull him. Having her as anxious as she was was bad enough, but seeing her trying to hurry him along while she was exhausted didn't exactly put him in the best of moods. He gave her a quick once-over to put himself at ease before he scooped her up bridal-style, whether she liked it or not, and carried her back to the infirmary. Though he had expected some kind of news, hearing that his dead brother was no longer, well, dead, made him stop walking for a moment to make sure he processed her words right. "Loren? Talon? - Talon!" he gasped, quickly making his way back in the direction Eva had come. Just outside of the door, he set Eva back on her feet again and took her hand. He put a tentative hand to the door, hesitant despite how excited he was, and peeked inside. "Talon?" he breathed, almost too quiet, but even though he had been warned, seeing someone he had thought was dead for so long was disorienting in one of the worst ways. His head spun and his leg's gave out for a moment, making him feel jelly-legged and confused, and he sat down heavily on the bed his brother had just so recently vacated.

Omari nodded, putting down his pen, "It's nothing new so don't worry about it. At least you didn't bite anyone..." he said witha low chuckle. "I know your brother is coming along, and you will want to spend time together and whatnot... But if you get a chance, I would like to talk to you about a few things. Some to do with the coven, and a couple that are more personal.... But no rush, just whenever you get the chance..... Oh here's Mer-" he cut off as he saw Merik flopping onto the bed like a sack of potatoes.... "Never thought I'd see him discombobulated...." he muttered to himself with a little laugh.

"No! You need to come!" Eva insisted, not listening to Merik when he told her to stop. She kept a firm grip on Merik's arm, ignoring his struggle to make her to stop and continued to pull. "Merik!" she complained, giving him an angry pout before she huffed and gave up. She waited impatiently for him to start moving again, but she couldn't stay still and had to bounce of her heels to be doing something. She didn't argue when Merik picked her up, mostly because he was moving again, but she was also grateful for it because the cramp in her side was quite uncomfortable. She nodded at him when he said Talon's name, realizing that she probably should have made that clear since he had two brothers, and she held his hand tightly once on her feet. She didn't rush him this time, knowing that he was in shock, much like she was when she found out. She sat down on the bed, letting out a breath of relief now that she was on the bed and she didn't need to move for a while. She rubbed the side with the cramp while her thumb caressed the back Merik's hand. "I got him," she told Talon, as if it weren't obvious.

Talon looked at Omari, surprised. "Why would I - wait, that's happened before?" he asked, paling at the thought of someone waking up and just biting somone. He doubted he would understand what went through a person's head that chose to react that way. Sure, he had freaked out, too, but he had enough sense not to attack someone. He didn't say anything when Omari mentioned Merik coming along, instead clearing his throat silently as he tried to contain his nervousness. What was he going to do? His anger at his earlier absense was no longer a problem, but he didn't feel guilty about it. Taking a deep breath, he looked up at Omari sharply with an expression of doubt, as if this guy could somehow offer him support or sooth his anxiety. At the sound of Merik's voice behind the door, and then a knock, he found himself unable to move, to turn around and see his brother, so he stared fixedly at the table in front of him. "I'll come," he told Omari quietly, but turned around instinctively at the sound of someone falling.
Merik leaned against the wall that the bed was up against, just staring at the place where Talon stood. His face was expressionless, but his hold on Eva's hand was a little tighter than necessary. He took a deep breath and dabbed at a bit of wetness at his eyes, then pushed himself off of the bed and let go of Eva's hand. "I... want to believe that you're my brother," he started, scratching the back of his head, but met Talon's eyes with a helpless shrug. "But I just can't do that, not when I have a bounty on my head and the protection of this coven on my shoulders," he told him, giving him an apologetic look. He crossed his arms as he bit his tongue, glad that Eva and Omari were in the room to give him the support he needed just then. "What's your name?" he asked, trying to sound as neutral as he could.
"Talon Orion," Talon replied, giving him a disbelieving look for making him do this. He was his brother, he was supposed to know. Contrary to his argument, though, he doubted he would've recognised his brother if it wasn't for his edgy style. He had changed so much. It didn't surprise him, since it had been such a long time, but it still bothered him. "Why do you have a bounty on your head?"
"Because I'm responsible for destroying a majority of the superhumans," Merik responded, caught off-guard by the question because it was pretty basic common sense. "Now what's you're full name?"
"Talon Pasquale Orion - why would you do that?" Talon asked, shooting off his own questions. Again, he didn't like the thought of his brother doing dangerous things. He wasn't the same as how he had left him, and he didn't know which of the two bothered him more.
"I was protecting my coven! Name our family members," he replied, finding himself getting worked up at how a simple interrogation managed to affect him, too.
"Medley, Eliza, Loren, Helena and Michelle," Talon named off as he crossed his arms, looking pointedly at Merik as he glanced between Omari and Eva. "What do you mean 'your coven'?" he asked, feeling a little betrayed that Merik had managed to pick up another family in the absense of the people he had just mentioned.
"I lead the coven, with the help of several other people, namely the Kentarous," Merik answered, then cast a doubtful glance at Eva, as if he didn't want to ask this next question, then looked away from both of them as he did anyway. "Who was your first wife?"
Talon bit off whatever response he had for Merik's answer, which had been a demand to know how he fell into that much power, but the question really left him mute and shaken. "Abigail..." he uttered, his face crumpling in on itself for a moment, then hardened. "My Abigail, and she was my only wife!" he declared, putting a hand to his face and turning away from them all in an effort to keep his composure.

Eva didn't complain when Merik's grip on her hand became a little painful. She understood, but she was a little surprised that Merik wasn't rushing over to his brother and glomping the stuffings out of him. That feeling didn't go away when Merik started interrogating Talon, and a deep frown crossed her face. She didn't say anything though, because Merik's precaution made sense, but she found it kind of silly. She doubted the superhumans knew anything about Talon since he died so long ago, there was no way they could trace him to Merik. If it made Merik feel better, though, she was going to keep her mouth shut. She tensed at Merik's last question, and she tried not to cringe at Talon's reaction to it. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to hold in a glare she sent towards her husband. "Merik, that's enough," she said, her tone a little harsh; she was clearly displeased with him. "If your eyes can't believe it, then smell him. If he wasn't Talon, he wouldn't smell exactly like him."

The answer to his last question already confirmed, to him, that Talon was who he said he was, and that realisation had him fighting back tears from his eyes. He didn't need Eva telling him that it was time to stop to know that himself, but he still nodded in response before walking over and throwing his arms around him. "I'm sorry, I just-" He didn't know how to finish that, so he just clung to his brother for the moment.
"Its okay," Talon breathed, hugging him back and patting his shoulder in an effort to soothe him. Years ago, he would've known what to say to his brother to make him feel better, but it had been far too long since he had been close with anyone, so he felt helpless again. "It's okay," he repeated, pulling away slightly so he could wipe away whatever moisture had leaked from his eyes. "I'm over it, totally and completely over it," he told him, nodding vigorously, then smiled lightly. "I'm glad you're doing so well with yourself," he commented, wanting to change the subject to something else so he would feel less awkward.
"Oh well, yeah. You didn't expect me to just sit around and let bad things happen to the coven, did you?" he asked, trying to keep from sounding like he was bragging, because that was the last thing he wanted. "Um, are you guys hungry?" he asked, not wanting to sit around an infirmary for too long since the space was normally needed.
"Oh, yeah!" Talon answered, glad for a reason to get out of there, and with family. He offered a hand to Eva, feeling really bad for ignoring her. "Thank you," he told her quietly, hugging her again because he couldn't quite express how much he wanted to thank her for bringing Merik to him, despite how things had turned out.

Eva sighed and smiled with relief when Merik finally hugged his brother. She couldn't be more happier for them, she knew how important siblings could be. A twinge of jealous rippled through her as she watched them, wishing that somehow Abigail, Luke or Criss could come back to her, and seeing Talon here gave her a hope that maybe they could. But deep down she knew that was highly impossible. She quickly tried to shake away that feeling before Merik noticed, and she rubbed her eyes when she felt tears prickling in them again. "I'm starving!" she said once she was paying attention to their conversation. She slide off the bed and onto her feet, rubbing her stomach for a moment before looking up at Talon with a smile. "Your welcome," she replied, hugging him back tightly then taking both his hand and Merik's hands so they could walk out together.
