For a moment, Angel looked back at him, not really sure what she was feeling. It certainly felt nice to have his hands on her face, but she didn’t really see what that had to do with anything. Then the moment was broken when he removed his hands. She felt herself blushing. Wait, blushing? Why should she be blushing? He was her best friend.
“It’s ok,” she muttered to his apology, looking at the floor. She didn’t get why she was so worked up about his touch. There was a silence in which she tugged on her hair and shifted from place to place. Then her gaze shot back to his eyes. “’What I do’ is called healing, Remmy-wemmy,” she retorted, resorting to a comeback to hide her confusion. “I’d love to go outside, but you know teleporters are only supposed to be used for missions or hunting. Wait, that’s it! We can go hunting. I mean, we both are half-vampires, so it wouldn’t be a problem. I’m so glad Ki-Ki was human when she had you, because otherwise we’d have to find some way to make you smell like a half-vampire. I have Sunday off, so we can go then. Unless you’ve got a mission or some such, in which case I guess we can wait to go some other time.” She knew she was babbling, but she didn’t want to stop. The alternative was sitting there looking awkward.

During the awkward moment of silence between Remiel and Angel he looked back at her and saw her blush and saw her tugging at her hair. He himself felt a little confused as well and was glad when she spoke up and spoke again. He chuckled slightly at her comeback and made a small face at the nickname she used for him. After all these years there were multiple names that she had made up for him and he wasn't exactly a fan at most of them. "Well of course I know what it is, I mean, I've experienced it myself," he said with a smile, holding up his right hand and wiggling the fingers on it, since that had been the hand she had just healed.
He then sat quietly again as he listened to her idea. He laughed a tad with a slight shake of his head at her babbling but then nodded his head in agreement. "Sounds like a plan to me. Sunday seems good and I'm fairly sure I don't have anything going on, so I should be good for Sunday."
